ABOUT US
Lionheart Littles began as a plea to God. I wanted to find a way to bring peace into my home, teach my children who they are, and send my own children into the world with confidence, identity, and connection to God.
I was a public school teacher for 8+ years, and I often saw students who had little to no self-esteem or sense of purpose, and it broke my heart. Lionheart Littles is what I wish those kids had access to in their homes.
After giving birth to my son, I fought with postpartum depression and anxiety. I learned the power of positive self-talk and building healthy, strong neurological connections.
As a mother of two deeply feeling kids, I want to send them into the world armed with a concrete knowledge of who they are and what they are capable of. And as a cancer survivor, I am keenly aware of the fact that I will not always be here to remind them that they are loved.
And thus, Lionheart Littles was born. My mission is to use the creations of God to teach children why they were created and how to connect with their Creator.
Our affirmation cards, workbooks, and stickers work together in a beautiful system.
Children learn the affirmations at home and build connections in their brains. Those affirmations are connected to animals, which can further strengthen those neurological connections and create powerful reminders of the lessons learned.
Our stickers, with beautiful (drawn by me) images of the animals, go perfectly on water bottles, binders, notebooks, or anything else your child uses. They can take those stickers with them anywhere, and every time they see them, their brain will remind them of that connection they made at home. They will remember that they are strong, kind, safe, and brave. It's a way for you to send reminders with them for the times when you can't be there.
I hope you love Lionheart Littles as much as I do. And more than anything, I hope that your children grow up hearing, learning, and loving these affirmations.
I hope that one day, when your child is 34, they see a picture of a lion on a tough day. I hope their brain remembers that connection you gave them. I hope they hear a whisper of "I am brave." And I hope they find the strength to keep going.
